Manage import configurations

Manage import settings to easily import regularly sent data files from other applications from the Import Configurations panel.

Prerequisites

  • View Settings permission is required to view this panel.

  • Edit Import Configurations permission is required to add, edit, or delete a configuration.

Create an import configuration

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Settings.

  2. On the Import Configurations panel, select Add.

  3. Populate the fields.

  • Template Name: Enter a name for the import configuration.

  • Type: Select the type, either Homestead or Mortgage Companies.

  • Format: Select the format of the import.

  • File has headers (optional): Select if the file includes headers.

  • Data Mapping: Enter a column number in the Column Identification field for each Field Name.

  1. Select Create Import Configuration.

The option displays in the Import Configurations grid.

Edit or delete an import configuration

  1. From the left-side navigation, select Settings.

  2. In the Import Configuration panel, locate the configuration.

  • To edit: Select Edit. Adjust the fields as needed and select Save.

  • To delete: Select the Delete icon.

The adjusted information displays in the Import Configurations grid.
